Brake Drum Replacement – Instruction

Maximum allowed diameter of the brake drum working surface is 201.5mm. If the diameter exceeds or equals this value the drum needs replacing.

The drum working surface must be clean without deep scratches and scores. If there are such defects you should replace the drum or machine the damaged surface with turning lathe. After that the surface should be treated with a little-grain abrasive stick. And the brake surface diameter must not exceed 201mm.
